Endodontic treatment is difficult and very crucial. It is connected with the complex structure of the root system: narrow splitlike areas in a void structure create ideal conditions for the development of microflora. Constant humidity, closed area, increase of temperature and presence of the bacteria only promote this development. Access to the root canales is very often ocomplicated. The teeth are situated in the infected environment of the oral cavity. The reason of all the "endodontic" diseases is microbial infection. The main task of the endodontist is to remove infection from the root system.

Because of a great number of patients that require endodontiic treatment, IPST clinic has a special room for endodontic treatment. Application of modern materials and technologies for roots treatment that are used in our clinic is based on the foundation of classical stomatology.
The endodontist has at his disposal the following:
- Trophy radiovisiograph. It gives the possibility to show the images in 3-5 seconds. A positive feature of the radiovisiograph is the fact that its radiation dose is far less than that of an ordinary X-ray unit. Trophy radiovisiograph has a display. It gives the possibility to see the changes in the periapical tissues, to view the position/allocation of roots, to measure length of root canales and to control the accuracy of their filling on the monitor.

- device for electroodontodiagnosis that allows for making additional dental pulp vitality test;

- the best in the world endodontic micromotor made by Morita company (Japan) with integrated apex-locator - device for correct measurement of length of root canales;

- modern endodontic instruments made by leading companies for expansion of root canales;

- endodontic hendpiece manufactured by Bien Air company. The peculiarity is in its possibility to prepare perfectly the root canal with the help of the special instruments. This hendpiece has protection system from the breakage of the instruments inside the canal;

- ultrasonic scalers with the special endodontic tips manufactured by EMS and Satelec companies;

We have been using the method of root canales filling with the help of warmed gutta-percha enough long to come to a conclusion that it is one of the most reliable techniques of canal filling (if there are appropriate indications), because it guarantees obturation and needs less time if to compare with the classical method. Materials on basis of nonabsorbable resin are used as sealers.

In our for accurate 3D obturation of root canals with warmed gutta-percha we use "E & Q Plus" (Meta). It consists of control unit, pen and gun.

In children endodotics filling of root canals with calcium posts is widespread. The calcium posts resolve together with root in case of resorbtion of temporary teeth.

Method of electrohimical disinfection of root canal with the help of depophorez turned out to be effective; its principle is sterilization of root canals in case of unsatisfactory permeability is observed.
